Junk Bond
Ramsch-, Schrott-, High-Yield-Anleihe, hochverzinsliche Schuldverschreibung von Emittenten schlechter  Bonität, deshalb mit hohem Risiko. Ursprünglich wurden J.B. in den USA im Zusammenhang mit der Finanzierung von Unternehmensübernahmen (Leverage Buyouts) bei geringem Eigenkapitalanteil begeben. Heute entstehen J.B. auch durch die Abwertung bisher höher eingestufter Unternehmen durch Ratingagenturen in den Speculative Grade.
